At Cooloola Kerbing, we prepare and resurface suitable existing concrete and bitumen surfaces using Topcrete, a spray-on micro-cement coating. From driveways and pathways to outdoor entertaining areas, we focus on proper preparation, attractive colour finishes and a practical surface for everyday use.
We assess each slab before recommending resurfacing. Severely damaged, unstable or structurally unsound concrete may need further repairs or replacement rather than a coating alone.
Concrete grinding & preparation
Grinding and surface preparation help remove unsuitable surface material and create a sound, clean base for the resurfacing system. The method depends on the existing slab and coating condition.
Repairing damaged slabs
Where appropriate, we prepare and repair minor cracks, chips, spalling and surface imperfections before coating. Active movement and major structural faults require assessment and may not be suitable for resurfacing.
High-grip surface options
Textured, high-grip finishes can be specified to improve traction in suitable outdoor areas. Slip resistance depends on the selected texture, sealer, conditions and ongoing maintenance; no coating is slip-proof.
Protective sealer
A compatible protective sealer completes the resurfacing system, helping protect the decorative finish and making routine cleaning easier. Maintenance and re-sealing needs vary with traffic and exposure.

We apply the chosen decorative colour and finish, with a high-grip texture where specified.
Seal & finish
A compatible sealer is applied as specified, followed by guidance on curing and care.

Topcrete is an Australian-made spray-on micro-cement coating formulated from polymer cement modifiers and C.I.A pre-mixed coloured hardeners. It is designed for suitable existing concrete and bitumen surfaces and is offered in 36 contemporary colours and colour combinations.
